Headless to Falkor to Enoch

And so begins a new Adventure!
This time, Serpopard from Magic the Gathering.  No sock to help me out for the body and legs like with Stocking Tiger, this guy was start to finish, just me.

It started out genderless, then the person who asked for it decided It was going to be a He, but still had no name for him...so I started calling him Headless.  For obvious reasons I feel.

Till the End of the Line, and Beyond

A friend of mine told me that Chris Evans was going to be at SLCC this year, in just about 2 weeks if I recall correctly, so I told her that I would make her a doll to gift to him.  He doesn't do many, if any, conventions, and I've given dolls to William Kirchur, Jed Brophy, Adam Brown, Sebastian Stan and Hayley Atwell.  I clearly needed to make it 3 vs 3 for Dwarven actors vs Captain America actors/actresses.

The body base and the Captain I started to make way back when Avengers 1 came out.  Guess who never got finished...

Everyone Deserves One

I'll admit it...
...This looks a bit strange, but stick with me, I promise it gets better!

Always find your way

A gift for my sister

For when she finally got her ex to move out.  Now her house is her home.  What better way to prove that than to give her a little piece of Bag End?

Mini Tiger, still missing reindeer

This is the sketch for the 2 mini tigers
This is what they where both based on, they turned out quite different from each other.

The Pick-Pocket

The top of that head looks oddly familiar...

And that is because it is Nori!  Ori's Older brother, and the company's original thief.  He is my 2nd all needle felted dwarf and was made specifically for Jed Brophy when I found out that he was going to be at Dragon*Con in 2014.  Yes, I know I'm just a little late in post this progression.

The end of the line, until we meet again

So, I started a new needlefelt doll.  Lets see how long it takes for you to guess!  This project is for the cosplay that I will be doing at the end of August for Dragon*Con.  It's a little hush-hush for now though, so you'll just have to guess at who or what I am going to be that weekend!
Here are the head and the body and the fluff that is going to connect them!

Stocking Tiger, Eaten Reindeer

This is my first commission!
It is the Stocking Tiger, based on art from teh card game Magic: The Gathering.

Winter Soldier

So, I'm going to Dragon*Con at the end of August and one of the dwarves from the hobbit is going to be there again.  So I though, I'll make him a doll like I did for William Kircher!  And then I found out that Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie were going to be in Philadelphia, at Wizard World/Philadelphia comic con, and I desided to take the the body I'd started for the dwarf and turn it into the Winter Solder instead.

I did it in under a week...

The Healer

Do you want to build a Snowman?

Oin here is my first all needle felted Dwarf, but my second all needle felted doll.  He has far more work done on him then the first doll, which is one of my tricky kitties, and I hope it shows.
While he took less time to do then my previous Dwarves whose bodies, arms and heads are all stitched together, he still has more work done to him just because of hte nature of needle felting as an art form.
He is also the only Dwarf not to have an eye color.  The all black eyes just seemed to suit him better.
