Present tags

The gifts I got of my nieces are much to big for any box or bag that exist in our house. I wasn't about to spend forever in some store trying to find something big enough either.

Thus I made these two tags. My nieces love flowers and feathers. The two things I have always failed at for drawing. Mercifully I don't think I did too bad on these.

They are now tied to the huge plus hues via ribbon around their necks.

I'm hoping to be the awesome aunt tomorrow.

Holiday things

The two wire ones are obvious. The tree and the star. The bowl thing has two foxes on it in my tricky kitty style. I also ended up putting the initials of it intended recipient on it in the end too.

Merry Xmas

Since I’m going to be rather late with sending out my Xmas cards this year, I decided to post my card art here and at blogger.

Since rise of the guardians has taken over my mind I decided to have Jack go after one of my tricky kitties.

The shield on the kitties rear is in reference to captain America. Tony refers to him as a “Capcicle” at some point in the Avengers.

So jack turned my kitty in to a “catcicle”.

Demon ...healer?

My friends D&D character. She asked me to draw her and this is what I came up with. She's a Tiefling Cleric…so a fire demon thing that uses holy magic. She's the healer. oh, the irony, because in the end she'll really just want to watch the world burn…and her group mates too.

It's a pose from from an x-men comic, and while I've mimic'd the pose before I think this time was the first that I hadn't traced it in one way or another.  which is why that bent leg is driving me insane with how BAD it looks.  -.- but 6 or 7 erasures and redo's of it and that is the best it got. -.-; I like the drawing overall, but that leg...

Tricky kitty heads

So, I caved and finally got a tumblr account ( http://padfutnprongs.tumblr.com ).  I've seen it places before that you can change out the dashboard icons for something else so I thought I'd give it a try.

...Well, it can not be done in Safari.   So there was a bit of grumbling as I downloaded firefox and all the things tumblr said I would need to do this and...the code the user posted on their blog was wrong.  I fail so utterly at coding that I basically banged my head on the desk and realized this was a lost cause.

I have tossed out the icon bar to my tumblr and my DA ( http://sarabi.deviantart.com ) pages.  If I can't use them, maybe someone else would like it enough to use it.  =/  Good luck to you, random internet user!

Druids

This is supposed to be my main character form world of Warcraft, harvist. My first time making it past a pencil sketch for any wow doodle ever. I'm quite pleased with this turned out actually. Well...minus the gimpy looking back hoof, but we won't talk about that.

Sorry it's not a progression like the last 2, but I got into a flow and I just couldn't stop. :D

Going Down

My Sailor Atlas. I've had her forever.

She used to get up to more antics, but I'm just not as big into the sailor moon fandom as I once was. Atlas is one of Saturn's many many moons. Most moons of any of the planets.

 I wish I could find the art I did for her in the late 90's (to show just how much of a train wreck my drawing used to be XD;; )

I think I figured out why I'm not really happy with how her shoulder looks. The anatomy is broken. I'll have to more a mirror closer to were I sit while I draw to work on that.

Drawn with a blue pencil, then inked over in blue too. I've done blue lines for her once before. Then I used prismacolor premier pencils to color her in.

I wish I was a writer so that I could get some of her adventures out of my head, but sadly I have permanent writers block when ever I try.

These are all photo's taken with my iPhone while I was coloring her.  The reason why it looks like there is 2 of everything is because I took one of the unblended colors (seen most easily with the black sections) and then again after I'd blended the colors out.

Borrowed muse

This is Elem Miire, an elf. She belongs to a friend of mine named Fizzy. Her muses have often smacked me upside the head to draw something for her.

With 2 exceptions I really love this drawing and how I colored it.

I hope she likes it to after she sees it at my deviantart page.

Paper, it's an app now

Cats, bears, moonkin hatchlings, birds and shields...or, I really need to go to bed and stop doodling in Paper and I REALLY need to not spend $6.99 on the other 5 drawing modes but there's the seriously strong chance I will because I love this app.

Why isn't tonight Friday night? Can I skip Friday day and just go to Friday night?

Inspired by my favorite Phoenix from Marvel

The large of the pair, and also one with an attempt at a background, is a mix of the mark that appears over Rachel Grey's eye when she uses her powers and the tattoo that was branded onto her back at some point when she was being hunted down for being the Phoenix.
The smaller one is one of my eraser stamps of the same mark over her eye. It's head looks disconnected because the original pencil I picked up to use was a color pencil and not lead/graphite pencil and thus it didn't leave any lines on the surface. Ah well. I'll know for next time.

Ravens and kitties

(I looked in the mirror and all that I saw was the purple, twisted Ravenclaw)
So, I put pen to speedy cut and drew it out as if I was going to be looking at the finished thing instead of doing a mirror image of the raven and R. /sigh
So now it prints backwards. -.-;;
I'm disappointed in myself for not realizing my mistake before I started to cut, and sadly it didn't occur to me until after I put ink on it and pressed it to paper and then peeled the paper away. Bad Sarabi.
I still like it though. I think it turned out nice despite being flipped the wrong way round.

As for this kitty, it was inspired by a sketch I did while on break a week or so ago. Poor thing is just exhausted and keeled right on over to face plant. I was originally going to do another sitting up kitty so there is wire in the neck for support, but then I remembered my doodle and I wanted to do this instead. =D

More wire

So, with a few exceptions, this is all I did with the copper roll of wire. I'm pleased with most of the randomness of it all, but I'm still not sure what to do with them.

I really might consider making a small decoration cage and adhering many if them to it. Though that might mean u end up making a small clay bird to put in it. I'm not really good at drawing birds so making a 3d one for this cage may not end well.

I'll let you know how it goes in the end if I do end up making it.

Up in the air

I'm doing these twisted wire things now. I was going to use this wire for other things I'd made out of sculpey but it's so easily bent out of shape I don't think I can now.

This I've been doing a bunch of curly q's with the wire instead. Might try to find a little cage and attach them to it or something. Because they are copper colored they make me think of steampunk even if they aren't gears. I don't know.

3 little kitties

So the last time I posted a photo the all black cat was still embarrassingly naked in all white, the calico was the calico and the blue kitty wasn't even around!

The black and calico ones have been posted to etsy and the blue one is eventually going to be painted to match my obsession (he even has a shield!).

Also, this little moonkin hatchling was also still nakedly white. He has since gotten better.

That's all for me at tje moment. It's 85 in my room and I have to try not to melt now.
